    We thought we were in a Michelin star restaurant. In fact we had dinner in the refter were they serve breakfast.
    The restaurant we thought we had a reservation was next doors..
    Lucky enough we changed to 1 tempura menu to share. The UK people next to us had the same problem. An other left before starting the meal.
    Oh before I forget the quality of the food was very good.
    I have to say the waiter was very much understanding although his English was poor.
    Can I invite the management to do something about this very confusing situation. The customers are not happy at all, in fact nobody!

    Had tempura course (about 15k JPY per person) for dinner. Food is great although the service is a bit slow. We ask for tea many times but still couldn’t get it. I’d expect better service from a restaurant like that.

    Great buffet, lots of options the tempura was delicious. The cost is a little high at 3300 yen so I recommend just paying the add on when you book the hotel

    This restaurant seems to be operated by the same owner of the popular Tempura Endo Yasaka, which has four tempura-restaurants nearby. As we had their tempura for lunch thus decide to visit their new venue within CELESTINE HOTELS Kyoto Gion.
    Nice Kyoto beef Dashi-Shabu. Great produce, quality meat and excellent dashi for the price. Extremely filling as they were very generous with the highly-marbled beef portion. Attentive service from staff,. Classy and cosy ambience.

    Although I didn't reserve an Itamae seat, there was excellent service and delicious meals. Ms. Nagano provided warm service and suggestions for meals, which made the tempura even more delicious. Thank you very much for her care that night😆
