I would give 6 stars if I could, this restaurant really blew us away and we ate here 2 times during our 3-day stay in Nikko, and the 1 day we didn’t eat here we regretted it immediately. The food is amazing and very well priced, the portions are also very filling. The staff was also very friendly. Also worth noting, they are one of the very few restaurants open during weekdays in Nikko, the town is otherwise completely deserted after 6 pm.

Food is very delicious. We've ordered salad, veggies, soup, and meat. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Service is great!

We waited over 40 mins during lunch hours to be seated. The curry was very tasty and the hamburge also very very nice. The grill steak on garlic rice is ok. The wagyu tartaki was ok.

Overall very friendly place and nice food. We drank quite a bit here as the environment was great and we enjoyed it so much.

If you visit Nikko, this is for sure one for you to try.

Came at 7pm and there was lots of space.
I ordered the beef hamburg as well as various skewered meats.
The beef hamburg was done really well and you can choose the amount of beef all the way up to a 1kg patty.
The skewers were very well seasoned with a good charred taste, and the meats were still soft.

Only downside was that the skewers took quite a long time ~30mins to arrive even though the store only had 2-3 other groups around and there was a group of people there who were especially loud.

The steak and pork sirloin were in big portion. Oyster and clam in soup were fresh. The decoration was very traditional Japanese old style western restaurant.
