Fromatique Review Summary

The food here is actually good, but the service is so atrocious (or at least it was the day we went) that it ruined the trip. They just bring you food and then hole up in their corner and ignore you for the entire time. We never had refills on water or anything, of course. Left incredibly thirsty.

Ok so in reality no restaurant is perfect but I found that one at random with friends and we are fans of fondue Savoyarde.

We were surprised by how generous they are with the cheese and having unlimited side dishes (potatoes, vegetables, bread) was really appreciated.

The service was good and we showed to the main waiter how a raw egg is usually used to finish the fondue. So he ran to the kitchen to brought one for us for free.
He was delighted how it turned out and joked that he would serve it in the menu from now on.

We only tested the fondue but as they are rare in Tokyo we thought it was a nice spot.

Came here for their cake/tea menu for 900¥. The outside seating is absolutely cute but it’s unfortunate that a pachinko parlor sits across the street playing the infamous mosquito tone…. So unless your ears are dead to this noise, you won’t be able to enjoy the outside seating. Indoor seating is spacious!

Only negative point was the staff attitude
The restaurant was closing at 10pm, with a last order at 9pm
We showed up at 8:35pm, and we clearly felt that we were disturbing them. Very minimal service, food was thrown on our table and they started to clean everything around us, showing clearly that we had to hurry.
A bit disappointing.

Do not miss the chocolate fondue! Great atmosphere: quiet and well decorated. The portion is about right and the cheese was cheesy!
