Fu-fu Hanten Review Summary

I tried the popular Noodle with Chicken White Soup, overall not bad but abit salty. The portion is generous, sufficient for 2 ladies sharing, if you are very hungry then go ahead to order this, it is so worth it. The dumplings are at reasonable prices. Will definately return and try the Ma Po Tafu.

There were about four empty tables when we arrived, but the staff said they were reserved. We waited for 20 minutes, and when we finally got seated, we were told that the table was only available for an hour. We ordered shrimp chahan and steak chahan. Both were not as good as expected, but the steak chahan was beyond bad. As you can see in the picture, the steak was not cooked. I doubt they understand the difference between medium rare and raw meat. If you are looking for a vibe, this place might be a fit. But do not expect good food. Honestly, I don't understand all the hype for this restaurant.

Very hip place to eat chinese food, well Japanese version of chinese food. Ordered mapo toufu set meal with unlimited rice. Happy with my food.

The decoration of the restaurant is very interesting, not authentic Chinese but not Japanese either, somewhere in between. Almost like a movie set with all the elements you would expect to see at an old chinese restaurant, it's like in an animation. You know that cartoon with Jackie Chan? Hipster chinese style maybe?! Lol

I was pleasantly surprised at the ramen, which had firm noodles, not oily at all, and deliciously light broth with the perfect balance of flavors.

The spare ribs was amazing, it is fried with a thin batter and very crispy in the outside, and soft lean meat in the inside. The black vinegar sauce was exquisite, it is a richer darker taste than the usual black vinegar sauces you find in other restaurants.

I need to come back again to try the other dishes!

Great options for chicken and shrimp dishes. Excellent service too!
