Possibly the best fugu restaurant I have been in Tokyo (nay, Japan). The variety of cuts and preparations, with finesse and sophistication, is out of this world. I went for dinner and had the "Omakase Course", 9900 JPY. The course had all the musts of a good Japanese cuisine, we had a pickled dish, a sashimi, a boiled dish, a fried dish, a grilled dish, a rice dish, a desert. Special remark to the marinated grilled fugu that they do in front of you. An even more special remark to the fugu egg pizza. Either way, all food was very tasty, very beautifully served. The staff was impeccable, kind and attentive. The rhythm of the food being served was perfect, not too fast, not too slow. The mood of the restaurant is modern, but it sits on a 3-store building that was built in Showa 3, 97 years ago. Do take your time to look at the ceiling to enjoy the old-time atmosphere. Definitely worth it.
