Visited alone on a Saturday in mid-November at 11:30. It is a LINE reservation system, and when I inquired on the morning of the day, luckily there was space available and I made a reservation.
I arrived at the reservation time and was immediately guided to the restaurant, where I ordered Iwanaka pork fillet cutlet for 2,750 yen, homemade juicy minced meat cutlet for 400 yen, and chicken fillet cutlet for 400 yen.
In about 10 minutes, the rice, akadashi, cabbage, and then the cutlet come out one by one. By the way, you can only get one refill of rice and cabbage.
The first item is fillet cutlet. You can proceed to eat the first bite as is. Even though it's well-cooked, it's so tender that you hardly need to chew, and the sweetness of the meat spreads in your mouth. The batter is fragrant and you can eat it as is, but I personally think that rock salt would also go well with it. This was the most delicious.
The second item is minced meat cutlet. The juicy meat fills your mouth the moment you take a bite. Of course it was delicious, but personally I would have liked a little more flavor.
Lastly, the fillet of Iwanaka pork. It's soft enough compared to a normal tonkatsu restaurant, but the texture is harder than the previous two dishes. However, since it was fried rare, the natural sweetness of the red meat came out when I bit into it, and it went perfectly with the rock salt.
Herbal tea is served after the meal.
They use branded pork and I think the price is reasonable, but it is difficult for ordinary people to use it on a daily basis.
