We walked by and were attracted by the scent from the bakery, and saw someone making the cakes at the entrance. Out of curiosity, we bought one as dessert after dinner at the hotel. It's thick, nicely favored and delicious!

Famous layered cake shop that sells several different versions of this cake. The price is a bit high, but you do get your money's worth in flavor.

The store front shows a traditional oven and rack system that they use to bake the cake. The cake batter is applied to the metal rod and baked one layer at a time.

The store is not very big, so it can be a tight squeeze when it's busy, which is quite often. My advice is to send in one person to order while the rest of the group wait outside.

A famous layered cake shop. There are several flavors offered: Okinawa dark sugar, Tofu, Honey, red yam. There are other baking good beside the cake.

We bought them as souvenirs for coworkers and friends, they can EMS it to our hotel with 1500yen surcharge. It was nicely packed with gift bags.

sweet multiple roll cake or Baumkuchen . There is a machine in front of the shop shows how to make a roll cake. No parking. When you buy a round roll cake , the staff will neatly pack a cake into a box and when it rain a very good staff will wrap the paper box with plastic with no request. Great service and yummy roll cake.
