Very tasty and slightly spicy Dan Dan noodles. I don’t know if they can speak English but they didn’t with me, so it’s a good idea to show them a picture of what you want to eat. The greens were cold at first and I thought I detected some coldness in the service as well (not looking at me as I attempted to say goodbye, for instance), but it’s always hard for me to know whether I’m being rude in Japan or the other way around, though I try hard to be a good customer.

This is a restaurant that specializes in Dandan noodles, where you can enjoy a rich creamy soup with just the right amount of spiciness, which is a Japanese version of Sichuan Dandan noodles!
The location is right in front of Umejima Station, and I think it's easy to find with the yellow signboard and large green noren.
There is a ticket vending machine right at the entrance, so buy your meal ticket!
Since it was my first visit, I initially thought they would have the normal Dandan noodles that the restaurant is known for, but when I saw the heaping amount of green onions that the previous customer had given me, I got even more greedy and bought a ticket for the Negi Charshu Dandan noodles! (Of course, along with a ticket for a large bowl of noodles) A female staff member asked me, ``I can't afford a bite of rice, would you like some?'' and I answered YES!
This free rice! It's typical of Koshihikari from Uonuma, and you can feel the commitment.
As soon as I took my seat, I was served a bowl of green onion char siu tandan noodles, and the visuals were just as I had imagined, and I was excited even before I started eating them.
As for the taste, the sesame seeds have a creamy flavor despite the large amount of soup, and the medium-thick noodles are entwined well so you can really feel the flavor of the sesame seeds. The spicy seasoned green onions go perfectly with the tandan noodles! The chashu that I sometimes eat was soft and I couldn't help but choose this ramen, and I thought it was the right choice.
Also, if you pour the leftover soup over the free rice, it becomes a tangy rice with lots of minced meat, so I recommend eating it this way! (Please see the photo)
On this day, I got in easily, but there are only 11 seats at the counter, so depending on the timing you might have to wait, but if you like dandan noodles, I recommend you give it a try.

Dandan noodles!
Visited for the first time in several years! It was Saturday afternoon, but the place was empty. When I looked at the reviews, I noticed that they had replaced it...I was a little worried, but the tandan noodles turned out to be perfectly delicious.
The female clerk also made a good impression! On the contrary, it might have been better because you could eat without lining up.
I'm also happy with the bite-sized rice service. This bite is good.
It would be better if the numbness and spiciness could be adjusted, but if this is the restaurant's best, it may be fine as is.
