I went to famous curry shop “gavial”. I ordered beef curry which is medium spicy. First, there is sweet taste of fruit, after that the spicy taste of various spice. I would like to eat it again. Thank you.

Tried their Beef curry and it is a bit sweet for my taste. I also think the serving is a bit deviated for its price. The medium spiciness level that I picked is not my what I expected it to be. So if ever I go back, picking the highest level of spiciness for that extra kick is a must. I am not sure but maybe because this is a European curry so I should have expected about these things. But what I loved about their curry roux is it is consistently smooth all throughout and the meat is tender! Overall, good!

It’s simple and really good :D
It’s a traditional Japanese curry, not an indian.
Their signature plate is beef, but chicken is also good. There’s no surprise in taste, but somehow, it’s GOOD!
