I’m angered by the uninformed bad reviews: you come here to have a luxurious, authentic and genuine experience, and that is not cheap: as an Italian🇮🇹, I understand the care Emiliano puts to every detail: from the careful choice of his suppliers located in specific corners of Italy where you can get the premium ingredients, to the choice of the ingredients themselves:
He does not use any additives or artificial thickeners. As thickener, he uses Carob from Modica (Sicily). Many of the flavours have no refined sugar, OR no sugar AT ALL, like his pistachio from Matera.
He makes them personally, and I can tell you this is the best gelato I’ve eaten in Japan so far, hands down. It is also very unique and differs a bit from the traditional Italian gelato because it is extremely creamy and thick, and I didn’t think it was possible.
The flavours are so strong, you TASTE what you’re supposed to taste.
Miele amaro di corbezzolo from Sardinia, one of the most expensive kinds of honey out there.. hazelnut from Piedmont… Torrone… Marsala!!
He also sells some rare traditional Italian sweets that you never find in Japan. As well as high quality panettoni, which I’m 100% getting for Christmas 🎄
Not to mention how nice he is.
