Gen-soba Nonaka Review Summary

This reataurant is quite far from the train station and located in residential area in the suburb in Tokyo. However, they serve superb soba noodle! when u visit tokyo, don't miss their soba!

Really great place, and unique presentation. Some of the nicest tempura I’ve had.

Very cozy and warm atmosphere.
Tasty Soba noodles and various appetizers are available.

The best way to experience is: order some Japanese sake and some appetizers first, then order some tempura or something, Dashimaki Tamago (Japanese Omelette) is also recommended and choose your Soba.

In this area, once there was a very highly appreciated Soba noodles restaurant called Tanaka-ya, I think this restaurant is very similar to that.

Excellent family style soba restaurant. Soba texture is firm but yet delicious. It is to individual liking. Provide 4 lot guest parking at a short walking distance away.

Their Japanese omelette was the best omelet that I’ve ever had! And soba was also good!
