Very rich truffle chicken broth. I liked the sweet potato, kabocha, mushrooms and perfectly boiled egg that came with the tender chicken slices. The noodles were very eggy too. 🐔

This is the Ikebukuro branch of the 1 Michelin star ramen in Ginza.
Who knew chicken based ramen could taste as good as pork based. The soup was very concentrated and the ramen was the right QQ. I suggest ordering the special with extra full topping and you get extra pork and chicken meat. It is strange that they serve cherry tomato with the ramen but i recommend eating it halfway. It was very sweet and somehow balances the saltiness of the broth.
The menu has one other noodle dish, please do not order that. My friend ordered it and was very disappointed. Just order the special.
Service not as good. Very curt. You order and pay at the entrance before sitting down. No welcome or thank you. Is that the norm in small famous ramen stores in Japan??
The shop is located next to the the railway underpass and we had to q 30 mins for our seats. From what i heard, it is faster than the main branch.
No toilet.

Excellent ramen in a train station! Read reviews online of this Michelin recommended restaurant, and it didn't disappoint.
They specialise in Tori paitan - a chicken based ramen with a rich fatty broth. The noodles were topped with kabocha pumpkin, broccoli, and flavorful chicken. I asked for the staff's recommendation - and they suggested I prefer the number 1.
Went at 5pm for an early dinner and the restaurant was empty. Really delicious and while heartedly recommend!
