It’s a place that I will go everytime I come to Tokyo. At the time of this review, I have already been here thrice and this restaurant never fails to deliver.

Read through many of the recent reviews and the common theme was that customers were not allowed to choose their cuts. While that is true, I don’t understand the issue. Unlimited steaks at the price that they offer is highly reasonable.

Another common complaint that I see is that these are not A5 Wagyu because they do no have the kind of marbling that are typically associated to what we see on media. Just wanted to clarify the misconception that the amount marbling also depends on the cut of the beef. Choose your menu carefully if you want cuts with both lean and marbled meats.

In short, highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is available at several locations across Tokyo. This particular location was easier for me to get to.

Reservations for lunch was readily available online but I suspect that there are some days that they might be busier than others.

Food was amazing and while it's all you can eat, the meat is so rich that I could only eat one additional piece of steak after the full course was served. I truly enjoyed all the food that was served.

The staff all can speak some English so it made things a lot easier and is tourist friendly.

If I am in Tokyo again I would be sure to come back.

The best meal I had on my most recent trip to Japan. I disagree that they give lean cuts. They give a good mix of fatty and less fatty cuts which is exactly what you want when you're doing a long tasting menu. The non-beef dishes were also great. Contrary to what some people here are saying, they actually did let people request which cuts they wanted during the AYCE portion, though we were so full by that point that it hardly would have mattered much. Also had the best miso soup I've ever had!

I went in for lunch. A note to others it does seem like if you use the Google reservation it locks you into choosing from the dinner menu, so be sure to reserve a table through their website.

Other than that the service was great and the food was amazing. I had never had wagyu before but this lived up to the expectations. The staff was very friendly and I definitely left feeling stuffed. They made all of the food pretty fast and it was a really cool experience having a multi course meal where every course was delicious. After you finish your steak courses you can keep ordering more as an all you can eat and they did a great job at being attentive to make sure we got as much meat as we wanted. I hope my good reviews can be shared with the staff because they all seemed to be working hard and were very friendly.

I rarely leave a review on a restaurant unless it’s exceptionally good or it’s tragically bad. For this case, Ginza Steak 🥩 in Shibuya: it’s our worst meal in Japan so far. A tourist trap . The A5 Wagyu beef, for us is definitely not top A5 quality. We’ve spent almost 35000 Yen for the whole dinner for 2 pax. Both of us had the unlimited A5 Wagyu steak menu. but we didn’t ask for extra serving of Wagyu steak after the standard portion was served. The chef was friendly and I don’t think it’s the Chef’s fault when the meal didn’t meet our expectations. Just the quality of the A5 Wagyu steak is not the best quality. My partner and I had really exceptionally good A5 Wagyu beef many times from Japan before but Ginza is definitely not a good choice for A5 Wagyu quality steak. We wouldn’t recommend it.
