Amazing!!! An field trip of seasonal Japanese local ingredients and an explosion of different taste and texture in our mouth. The master is so knowledgeable that we explains details of the ingredients, dishes and it Japanese history in behind.
I really could enjoy the food, the atmosphere and went out smarter. ☺️really recommend and will definitely go there again. 👍

Some dishes, such as the ankimo with pear and mustard, and the suppon saikyoyaki, showed moments of brilliance. The final savoury dish of suppon gelatin and kegani egg stew was both luxurious and comforting. The staff are also very friendly, creating a genial atmosphere and chatting, even though I don’t speak much Japanese. Would recommend

In the evening, I heard that a high-end Japanese restaurant that costs more than 30,000 yen had started offering `Kabayaki Eel and Earthenware Pot Rice Gozen'' for lunch only.
The dignified atmosphere inside the store...the luxurious interior...I thought it was a picture-perfect high-end Ginza store...but the general's Kansai dialect was so special that it was so much fun. I don't feel nervous in a good way lol.
And the lunch set itself was just as expected.
`The main dish is rice,'' says the chef, and the rice, freshly cooked in a glossy clay pot, is extremely delicious.
The crispy Kansai-style grilled fish comes in two types: `kabayaki'' and `shirayaki.'' This is an eel that makes a wonderful sound when cutting into pieces.
The small side dish is rice bran pickles that bring out the best in rice, and `sea bream with sesame sauce''...it's wonderful that you can also make tai chazuke. The eel and clay pot rice would have been enough, but the meaty and rich sea bream chazuke...it was just too good.
I highly recommend [Ginza Sugano]'s eel gozen lunch, where the general's heartwarming talk, sparkling earthenware pot rice, crispy eel, and rich sea bream chazuke are all wonderful.

`Ginza Sugano'' is a high-class Japanese restaurant in Ginza where you can enjoy lunch at a reasonable price.
Even though the evening course starts from 30,000 yen, the lunch set is surprisingly expensive!
The eel kabayaki is crispy on the outside, and I want you to pay attention to the sound of it being cut!
You can enjoy one eel in two ways: locally grilled or steamed.
The rice cooked in a clay pot is also the best🍚
I thought the owner was a quiet person because he was grilling the eel with a stern look on his face, but it turned out that he had a sullen face due to the smoke 🤭
The owner is from Kansai and you can have a lively conversation with him♪

You can enjoy one eel with two flavors: grilled on the ground and steamed on the ground✨
The rice cooked in an earthen pot is also the best 🍚
If the owner thinks he's silent because he was grilling eel with a grim face, he'll have a grim face with smoke🤭
The shopkeeper is from Kansai and the conversation is lively♪
