Good experience of omakase sushi.
All fish are fresh and tasty.
The chef is friendly and well perform.
The restuarant is quite small, but clean and neat according to japanese style.

Booked this restaurant for Omakase Lunch Course while in Tokyo, great value for the fresh produce served. Head Chef Yoshihiro Tezuka was nice and friendly. It was a great lunch, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is travelling to Tokyo.

My experience @ Sushi Yu was amazing.

It was a great honor to be served by Mr. Tetsuka who guided our couple through the Omakase course🙏

Ankimo, shirako and unagi were served in a way I have never experienced before.

Will definitely recommend to friends visiting Tokyo.

I hope I could revisit myself in the near future.

Best wishes!

I was looking for a good sushi experience in my short day layover in Tokyo and this place fit the bill. Chef Tetsuka was a disciple at the famed Kyubey sushi in Ginza.

Easy, no frills reservation online via Table Check - something most restaurants in Japan don't even offer.
Reviews look good, I don't see any bad experience by foreigners and I truly felt welcome by the chefs and the service crew on the day itself. The crew all speak English too.

Absolute value for money omakase lunch and beautiful ceramics - if you're a drinker please get sake here and they will let you pick a cute ceramic for this.
I didn't even like a few fish that were served but because of the freshness and quality of ingredients, the chef changed my mind about certain fish for the better.
Would absolutely return again in a heartbeat.
I wish the team here success.
