No wait for 2 at 7 on a Saturday night. Immediately hit with the smell of burning charcoal when entering the restaurant. This was our first time having yakitori and it was delicious. It was also cool to see the chefs fanning the coals and grilling the various skewers. You can choose between the 8 course full-set or a 5 course half-set. 8 courses may sound like a lot but I thought it was just enough food -- it includes the starting salad and skewer of gingko nuts. The duck, chicken thigh, and wing skewers were my favorite. They were both really charred and super smoky. I usually avoid liver so was surprised by how tasty that skewer was. The chicken breast was the least interesting. Beware of the mustard -- it was incredibly strong. Service was good and the atmosphere inside was awesome. A great first experience with yakitori!

A slight wait to get in. Service was impeccable! Restaurant has English and Chinese menu to cater to foreigners. Moment you are seated down you get a small cup of soup and appetizer. You can choose from either 5 or 8 course menu and you can do add on after that. Yakitori was delicious and fantastic. Personal favorite will be the liver, chicken wings and chicken thigh. Restaurant crew can converse in English. If you are around Ginza do come by! Authentic experience!

We've tried a lot of yakitori restaurants in Tokyo and this was definitely our favorite. Love the smokiness and char on our chicken bits - while maintaining the all important juiciness of the chicken.

    Important: cash only

We went on Wed at 5pm (when they opened) and they filled up by around 6 to 630pm - mostly by locals, in fact we were the only foreigners there. They are welcoming and ordering is easy, having to only choose between 5 vs. 8 sticks.

Before you head in, it’s cash only. There’s a Family Mart with an ATM just around the corner. I had the eight course serving and my only problem is that I wish it kept on going. The beer here is ice cold which was extremely welcome after such a hot and humid day in Tokyo
