ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD!! We were greeted warmly by the chef and seated quickly. Boy, were we in for a treat! Each piece of sushi was perfectly crafted to allow for all the flavors to complement each other. The flavors seemed to evolve as you continued to chew. The chef was kind and spoke great English so he gave us a few recommendations for the remainder of our time in Kyoto. MUST BOOK IF YOU WANT TO HAVE AN AMAZING MEAL! Thank you again Chef! 💕

We spent a lovely saturday evening dinner in this intimate and authentic restaurant. We recommend getting the biggest course since it's an excellent selection of sushis together with several side dishes and a dessert. Every sushi had unique taste and we enjoyed every bit of it. The hosts are also very kind and recommended us a delicious sake and also several sights in Kyoto. Lovely service, lovely food, lovely people. Thank you very much once again!

Deliciously crafted small bite sushi in an 8-seat small bar setting. Fixed menu, you choose whether you want just the sushi or add all the sides (which are likewise amazing). This is special, bring your most discerning taste buds as the combinations are unusual and the menu doesn't translate well via Google Translate. About $40 for 2 with all the sides, reasonable for the very high quality and foodie vibe.

This is one of the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life. It’s sold as a set and each piece tasted so unique and wonderful. Plus the little dessert and miso soup that came with it were also nice! My boyfriend and I found this place after going to kiyomizu-dera temple. It’s close by it and we went around noon so we were the only ones there. The chef was very nice and chatted with us. We highly recommend this spot!
