The gem restaurant locate at small corner of gion. We were lucky to get seats on the last day of 2022.
The chef 大村さん and all staff were really friendly and prepared all dishes which are really match to daily sake.
Best service and delicious dishes are the most signatures. We can't wait to get back anymore.
See you soon!!!

Exceptional.
We went out late looking for restaurants and found this place by chance, best pot of luck we could've got. The whole vibe was warming yet exclusive. We ordered sashimi and steak, absolutely amazing. The quality and service was 10/10, albeit we were the only ones in the restaurant, they tended to our every need. Overall, if you want a traditional Japanese cuisine experience, go here.
Just to bear in mind, it is on the pricey side, but it's worth it.

Very classic higher-end izakaya. Dishes are on the larger side, so better suited to 2+ diners. They will do a course menu if you can't communicate in Japanese.
Most famous items are the saba sando and beef korokke, but there are a variety of larger format seasonal dishes too (suppon nabe was on my menu!). Ebi imo karaage and karasumi mochi were can't miss add-ons in late fall. Authentic yet approachable.
