Definitely an experience to remember. Gucci Osteria is a Michelin star restaurant, and we were lucky enough to get a reservation at the last minute (several days prior). Unique, eclectic dishes that really showcased Japan’s flavors into Italian dishes. A favorite was the amuse bouche bites in the beginning. My personal favorite was the carmelized seaweed. Other stand out dishes were the cuttlefish ball and eggplant ramen. Dessert favorites were the lemon pastry and macaron. All in all, it was a dinner to remember! The downsides was the alcohol selection wasn’t great and towards the end of the night service was slow. But super nice and great customer service. Loved the vibe and decor- that was a 5/5 for sure. We had a party of 5 and seated in the private dining room, which was a huge plus!

First of all, what an experience this was. Definitely one of my top dining experiences in Japan. Love that ingredients are sourced from different prefectures around Japan and also Italy. The service was ACE and the food was *YUM* Chef’s Kiss!

Translated from Japanese:

I went to the same store that I had been interested in for a while. I thought it would be similar to the Gucci Cafe that used to be on the top floor of the Gucci Ginza store, but from the look of the store it turns out to be a really authentic restaurant. I fell in love with the interior, which has a world view that feels like the latest shop...

This is a collaboration between Osteria and Chef Kobayashi of Villa Aida, a restaurant in Wakayama that only accepts reservations for one group per day (a place you should visit at least once to enjoy dishes made with plenty of vegetables from their own garden). .
