I recently had the pleasure of dining at H, a delightful Japanese Italian fusion restaurant nestled in the heart of Tokyo. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance, the friendly staff, and the unique blend of culinary traditions that permeated the air.
The standout dish for me was the mushroom with beef tongue. The tender, succulent beef tongue was expertly cooked, and its rich flavors were perfectly complemented by the earthy, umami-packed mushrooms. It was a harmonious blend of Japanese and Italian flavors that left my taste buds singing with joy.
Another memorable dish was the ostrich. It was cooked to perfection, with a tender and juicy texture that was nothing short of divine. The delicate balance of flavors, enhanced by a creative use of spices, showcased the chef's culinary prowess and the perfect union of Japanese and Italian cuisine.
However, the true pièce de résistance was the vegetable ice cream. This innovative dessert was a beautiful, refreshing surprise! It showcased the versatility of vegetables in a way I never thought possible. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor, with a creamy texture that lingered on the palate long after the last spoonful.
The attentive service at H was the cherry on top of an already impeccable dining experience. The staff were not only knowledgeable about the dishes but also provided excellent recommendations to ensure that our meal was an unforgettable culinary journey.

Absolutely wonderful place. Easily better than the Michelin-starred places I've tried in Tokyo, and the team has such great energy.
Awesome wine-pairing as well!
They only opened their Ebisu location recently as I understand it, and I feel lucky to have been able to experience them before they will inevitably get "starred", and become impossible to get a reservation. :D

Absolutely sensational. The integration of Japanese ingredients with European culinary excellence.
The shiitake steak with truffle, enoki and potato sauce was beyond words. Not to mention the snow crab with grilled eggplant!!!
I absolutely adore very single dish here.
The course includes two desserts and they were both so delicious!! Goat milk icecream with Persian salt and Sicilian olive oil was sth that you have to experience.
If you are ever in japan or Tokyo, visit Kagurazaka and dine here. You won’t regret nor forget this experience.
