Wagyu sando, yakiniku and gyukatsu. This restaurant, the original out of two locations, is borne out of love of its beef product as a butcher shop with over 100 years of history. You'll want to come for lunch rather than dinner if you want to save yourself half the price, it's pricey and with a 200 yen post covid dinner cover charge too then lunch is really the best option by far. They deep fry a good steak, and the wagyu sando is great too. Beyond the gyukatsu and curry Hamburg there aren't really much options, so if you're not into beef then this might not be the best place. There's a long counter setup where you can see the open kitchen doing its thing or some tables towards the back if you'd prefer, but limited seating overall. I didn't have to reserve for lunch which was nice compared to, say, the major gyukatsu brand most in Kyoto line up for but you can literally visit that chain in Tokyo even so trying a place like this is recommended so you cab get more calibration on the local beef. There are English menus if you need them, since their menus are not using a computer font, google Translate has a hard time reading them. Worth a stop if you're in the area.
