Visited a little before Christmas in December 2024
We had the ¥10,000 course as the ¥8,000 one was sold out for dinner. Service was speedy, volume was great as I couldn’t finish the bibimbap at the end as the meat was already so filling. The yukke was absolutely tasty, with one savory half and one sweet half in the same dish. The variety of meat parts made it interesting and the wagyu melted in my mouth. The only drawback was we were sat near the door so it was quite cold when the door opened. Otherwise the ambience was great for a date or a classy dinner with friends.

We had lunch menu in weekend, Harajuku Kintan original lunch set is best to choose. You can have their slected high quality multiple meats, Beef Sushi's meat is tender and thin, it is good to have as a Sushi. Salad and Rice are all you can eat.

POOR SERVICE! A small amount of meat took a long long time to wait.
The meat was grilled without asking how I wanted it cooked, and it was immediately dumped into truffle sauce without asking! Then the flame was immediately turned off and the former dish was taken away Still WITHOUT ASKING!
I didn't even got the time to react and there was no way to reheat or change back to a sauce we liked.
Above these I can baer it.
After the meal, the staff asked if I was satisfied, and I said no, because I don't really like truffles, but he didn't ask. He showed no apology, saying:you didn't tell me what you don't eat at the beginning.
Okay my fault. Why you even bother asking if you ain’t gonna do anything?
The rice dish was very small, like 2 bites or 3. And the dessert they called, it’s a very cheap taste ice cream which contains maybe only sugar.
It cost us 30,000 yen but 2 of us were 10,000 degree’s upset.

Our charismatic waiter, Takahiro, made the night for us with his amazing service, wit and humor and taught us all about the restaurant cuisine. His English is great and the food was top notch, as was the special, limited time all you can drink set meal! Thanks again Cha-San (Takahiro)!

Good food, staff ranges from very welcoming to rude especially for an expensive wagyu restaurant. Came here on a Sunday at 7pm and the staff was very professional, so we came back on Tuesday at around 9:40 pm, kitchen closes 10:00 and place closes 10:30, but it felt like we were not welcome. Front desk lady was off putting, told us to take off our coats first before going to a table, was awkward waiting to be sat even though there was plenty of empty tables. On Sunday our coats were taken by a nice front desk man maybe manager when we sat. This time it felt there were no staff so I tried to hang up my coat myself, but the front desk lady said sorry no with an awkward face. I'm guessing she was trying to rush us? Maybe a language barrier which I understand but her facial expression wasn't only friendly. When we sat at the table, instead of being very politely offered to take our jackets which we experienced Sunday, no one said anything. so we left them at our chair. All other staff nice, waiter explained the reasonable enough but confusing policies, Sunday waiter and staff in general was more welcoming even though we ordered more a expensive course this time. Having eaten kobe beef at other places even in Kobe, meat is good but not worth it.
