A fabulous dining experience over the course of 2 hours. Each dish was carefully prepared and designed to maximize the ingredients used. Not a single dish had disappointed which does not always happen even at such establishments. The rice dish at the end led to a lot of surprises with the amount of truffle that the chef was adding to it.

If you are planning to pay a visit, a reservation is a definite must.

(If you are looking through the pictures that I have posted alongside this review, then please note that I forgotten to take a couple of pictures, one of them as a result of being shocked by the amount of truffle added to the rice.)

We had the set lunch. The entrance is unmarked and next to another noodle place. To enter you need to push the building door and walk down to B1 level. The setting is cozy and not well decorated. If you sit at the bar the counter is flat narrow. you could see everything the chef is doing. That is the good thing for some guests but the bad thing is that you do see everything and chef may handle the raw materials in front you like two ft away. When we were eating the chef was axing a large fish and I was concerned that small bones may flying to my dishes. Every dish is excellent at the place and for the price it is reasonable. Really like the monkfish liver and truffle rice. Everything is so delicious and well presented except the eel dish. The eel was grilled first and then cooked with vegetables. The fish was burned and tasted bitter, ruined the whole dish. Very disappointed. I also noticed that the order of course changed for each group (except the cutlets rice is always the last they were decided by what dishes are being cooked at the moment so guests arriving at different time will have the same dishes at the same time instead of a preset sequence. Very convenient and casual but some may not like it.

Hall of fame meal! Service, food, everything was incredible! The clay pot truffle rice was worth the price alone. Went for lunch and had the lunch omakase and can't imagine a better meal! Probably the best value I've gotten out of a fine dining experience. Surprised this place isn't in the Michelin guide. Go!
