Unagidon was good and tasty. Good queueing system as well where you can leave the restaurant and come back later and you can check status of the queue online via a QR code. However, we feel that it’s a bit pricey, especially when the wait exceeds 15mins.

Food-wise was slightly above average, but pricey. However with our top-unagi experience with Edogawa in Nara, this fell short in terms of value-for-money.

Service was great! They have good English speaking staff and menus to help out too.

It's a tad bit crowded with a numbered-queue system in place - understandably as Kawagoe is fast becoming a touristy spot. Had to wait about 10-15mins for a table for 2 at 12:30pm on a Wednesday. But as with most of Japan, if you're in a smaller group, you tend to get your seats faster.

It was a weekend and there were many people. So, we went to get the queue ticket first, then we went for walk nearby for almost 1 hour before coming back to the restaurant. I ordered Unagi set. It's so tasty (juicy and tender) and I think it is worth the time to wait. Please visit here if you like Unagi.
