Heki Ginza Mitsukoshi Review Summary

Heki Ginza offers a serene dining experience amidst the lively environment of Ginza Mitsukoshi. The staff is welcoming, greeting guests with a smile and providing coat service. Each table is equipped with a basket for personal belongings, which is thoughtfully covered with a cloth for privacy. The ambiance features pleasant jazz music and soothing decor.

A standout feature of the restaurant is its beef, prepared Teppanyaki style right at the table. The wagyu beef is tender and flavorful. The meal is complemented by a selection of Okinawa sides, including a vegetable-rich miso soup (kachuyu), pickles, green papaya, and traditional salads. Alongside the beef, diners can enjoy tofu, fresh vegetables, and Okinawa sweet shrimp. To finish, a refreshing dessert of mochi balls and sweet red beans (azuki) topped with shaved ice is served.

This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we look forward to returning on our next trip.

Great all female staff teppan. Good value for their teppanyaki and quality beef used. I had the Okinawa wagyu set and beef is excellent! Great chefs and good service. Highly recommend!

Great teppanyaki and showcase of Okinawan cuisine (black wagyu / prawns). The lunch special course was super value for money (~45k yen) and it was interesting to note the restaurant is run entirely by women.

I went to their Osaka location 6 years ago, and that was a memorable experience. After Japan reopened, I went to their Ginza location tried to relive my experience and I was satisfied by their food and service. Definitely will go again when I visit Japan next time
