This shop is located near the main gate of Kyoto Institute of Technology.
It's not in a downtown area, and there aren't many places to eat nearby, but I decided to visit this place as it was open for lunch.
It has the atmosphere of a high-class small restaurant, and the various rice bowls for lunch start at 1,300 yen (as of March 2024), but I felt it was rather cheap considering the contents and taste (dessert included).
It would be an exaggeration to say that it was the first time in my life, but there were three chefs doing everything from cooking to serving the food, and although there were no so-called part-time workers, I was able to watch the chefs' every move, including their knife skills. It was a restaurant where the seriousness of each shot was clearly conveyed to the customers.

Therefore, eating while looking at your smartphone is not allowed, so I really tried to enjoy the food, but the tempura rice bowl was battered and fried right in front of you, and it was crispy, and the seafood was prepared right in front of you. All of them were extremely delicious, especially the red soup stock.
    *Seafood bowl/White rice + Toppings + Pickles Chirashi bowl/Vinegared rice + Toppings + Gari

Although the shop itself is small, I had a valuable experience where the spirit of the shop (board staff) was conveyed to the customers, so I was sure to visit again.

I received a stable tempura bowl!
I don't like seafood, but seafood is always available and whatever I eat is delicious.
Comes with red soup stock containing yuba, one dish, and dessert.
    Counter and table seats.
    It's a nice small shop.
Regular customers were enjoying the evening menu while drinking during the day.
There are also about 7 tempura bowls.
This is my second visit, and although the seafood bowl is more popular, the tempura bowl is also really delicious.
It was 1,300 yen including tax, but it was a satisfying lunch.
The dish of the day was marinated conger eel in vinegar and the dessert was watermelon.

In the evening after I finished a certain job safely, I visited Osako, a place I had always wanted to visit, by myself.
Sit at the counter, order your sushi, and take a look at the photos!
Each item was fresh and delicious, and we even received garnishes and fruits as a service🙏
What surprised me was the price, I had a beer with this meal and got change for 4000 yen!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, and customers keep coming in one after another, and from the conversations between the owner and the customers, I got the feeling that this is a restaurant that is loved by the local community.
I found out that Taisho is from the same hometown, and we were able to talk about local things.
Next time, I'll go with a friend!

This is a Japanese restaurant run by a parent and child. At lunch, rice bowls and set meals are served at low prices. The sashimi is fresh and the tempura is freshly fried and very delicious.
I was told that the menu could be folded into bento boxes.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is similar to that of a sushi restaurant, but it is more like a Japanese restaurant.
I stopped by for lunch and ordered ``Kami Chirashi Sushi with Akadashi'' (2,300 yen).
I feel like I ate delicious chirashi sushi for the first time in a while.
There was a parking lot next to the store, but it was already full, so I parked at a coin parking lot a little further north.
They also had Japanese set meals, tempura bowls, and seafood bowls, so I would like to try them next time I visit.
