HoodDog is an absolute gem in the Sapporo eating scene!!! I love the name, decorations/style, and most importantly, the food here.
Came here for dinner and I got the chicken/vegetable soup curry and a pastrami dog with fries. The curry was amazing with the rice on a cold day in Sapporo! I got ~20 on the spiciness scale and it was a good spice level for me (I have pretty low spice tolerance). The pastrami dog was on a DIFFERENT LEVEL! It was so good and I felt like I could eat 5 more. The fries were only 100 yen extra and they were also fried perfectly and tasted phenomenal. I can't recommend getting it enough!
The chef is super friendly (has a dope voice as well) and will help you understand the menu and order, as it's all in Japanese. Super cool interior decor that made it even more enjoyable eating there.

Wow. This was amazing. We came in for soup curry, and while the smell was incredible, couldn’t resist the dogs. Best pastrami I’ve ever had. Potatoes totally delicious. Don’t miss it!
