Reservations required for the traditional Japanese breakfast served daily from 9am to 1030am. The restaurant overlooks nonoaoyoma park and the setting is tranquil and serene.
The meal is fixed price and prepared to perfection. From the staples of the firm textured sweet akita rice (with free refills and optional namatamago) , rich pork based miso broth and the plump juicy oven baked salmon with the crispiest of skins, everything was SO TASTY. The side dishes of nakazuke and sushi are seasonal and equally well prepared. Home made black pepper ocha complimented the meal well.
Service is top notch in English or Japanese.
Would come back when the craving for a traditional meal arises ..

We had the diner course in October, with the wine pairing. Every dish and every wine was delicious, the staff was very welcoming, great atmosphere. There are not many tables so itâs gonna be hard to book, but definitely want to go again!

casual~! Like SIO, it was very casual, unlike what I had imagined before entering. I went there for lunch. It's casual, but as expected, it's a restaurant run by Chef Toba. The charm of all the staff is amazing. Taste is important, but charm is just as important. I think you can enjoy a pleasant meal no matter where you go to Chef Toba's restaurant. I'm also very interested in breakfast! Lunch tastes good too!
