We just got our second dining at Haru everytime we go on holiday to Tokyo. The food is always amazing with very-very nice ingredients and cooking from the chef, topped with amazing service. One thing that most people probably missed, apart from the menu, you can also buy the nuts and dates bread as well as some very delicious cookies. Look for it near the back of the kitchen. Can’t wait to come here again next time. 👍👍👍

Despite menus not being in English and our Japanese being non-existent, we had a really fantastic experience at Hàru. The chef was extremely welcoming and clearly talented. We asked for Omakase, since we couldn't translate the menu. I am continually amazed at how Japanese chefs take such pride in their work - can you imagine walking into a UK restaurant and just asking the chef to prepare whatever they want?
Our meal started with some delicious homemade date and nut bread, worked through a charcuterie plate, sensational octopus carpaccio, a well dressed salad, a gratinated potato dish, a light herbed omelette which I particularly enjoyed, simple but well-executed chicken with salt, and finished with one of the most fantastic Wagyu steaks I've had. The meal was refined, delicious and a highlight experience on a rather rainy bleak night. On the night we visited we were the only customers, but I've been previously when it was far busier.
My colleague has since told me that they have great lunch menu and if our experience is anything to go by its worth a visit.
