Hyotan Sushi

We really tried very hard to find this place and we were extremely happy when we found it. Although we had to wait for about 20 minutes we were seated right at the counter, where we could see the sushi chefs putting together our lunch. Menu is in english and Korean and the daily dishes are displayed in photos. We decided to have the lunch menu and one daily dish of a deep sea fish with an amazing sauce (we were told by a customer who was seating next to us that the fish was a rare find and we should have it so we did). The sushi was amazing, fresh and with a great selection. And the service was very efficient although the place was full. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is located on the side road of Solaria Stage, opposite the bridge that connects Solaria Stage to Solaria Plaza, next to a Family Mart

Map to go to while in Fukuoka. It was not until the third attempt when the queue was more manageable that we managed to get in after queuing for about 30 minutes. I finally understood why the queue was long - friendly service and quality sushi at an affordable price. Unfortunately the Uni Sashimi was not available, so we had to settle for Uni Sushi. But overall it was a satisfying meal.

It’s a long queue, with chairs provided. The food is fresh. I don’t suggest the set menu but a la crate as you will find them more exciting. Price is reasonable.
