One of the better grilled eel restaurant in Tokyo. For a faster service you can preorder grillled eel when making a reservation -that way it only takes less than 15 minutes for the food to arrive. I really love the decor.

Loved the downstairs seating as you see your food being prepped, these guys are masters at doing it their way, flavours are subtle so the natural oily aroma come through. Miso soup infused with smoky eel flavours rounded off a perfect lunch. The private dinning rooms upstairs are lush

So tasty! One of my favourite places.

Translated from Japanese:

I ordered the Dokan course at "Nishiazabu Ichinoya" for the first time, and there was appetizer and sashimi, but it was definitely eel! Shirayaki, salt and wasabi are the perfect match for Japanese sake!! Of course, the eel sauce at the end is perfectly delicious❗It's so delicious that you can't help but take a photo...

See map for location. Facing Route 418, the area is Coin P Desert...However, there is a large area at the back of the road. If you do some research, it might not be so bad to access by car. A long-established branch in Kawagoe, Saitama. 1 store in the city, 2 stores in Tokyo...
