Isshin Description

Located in the heart of Asakusa, Tokyo, Isshin is a hidden gem that offers a unique dining experience. This exclusive sushi restaurant is known for its traditional Edo-style sushi, which is meticulously prepared using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. With a history of 30 years, Isshin takes pride in serving sushi that is free from frozen or farmed fish, ensuring the highest quality and flavor.

What sets Isshin apart from other sushi establishments is their commitment to authenticity and attention to detail. The sushi rice is cooked using a traditional charcoal stove, resulting in a perfectly balanced and flavorful bite. The soy sauce used at Isshin is also specially blended in-house, complementing the delicate flavors of the sushi.

The intimate setting of Isshin, with only 8 seats at the counter, creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Isshin is the perfect choice. Their omakase course, featuring 10 pieces of nigiri sushi and 6-7 appetizers, is a popular option that allows you to savor a variety of flavors. For those who prefer a larger selection of nigiri, the 20-piece course is also available.

In addition to their exceptional sushi, Isshin offers a curated selection of drinks, including a variety of sake that pairs perfectly with the sushi. The knowledgeable staff at Isshin will be more than happy to assist you in choosing the perfect drink to enhance your dining experience.

For a taste of authentic Edo-style sushi in a charming and intimate setting, look no further than Isshin. Make a reservation and embark on a culinary journey that will delight your taste buds and leave you craving for more.

Great quality and decent prices. Came here randomly after landing and checking into a hotel nearby. We really enjoyed ourselves and food was quite good along with the service. As expected. Nothing too amazing but really good if you're nearby, hungry and need a bite. Highly recommended.

Expensive but definitely a visit worth. The sushi master make the sushi in front of you and prepared everything to the best. The service was awesome. But keep in mind the smallest 10 piece Suzanne costs about 8800¥
