Ryukyu cuisine restaurant "Itokuruma" was founded in 1993 (Heisei 5), a 14-minute walk from Yui Rail Makishi Station.
The owner comes from a family of court chefs who served the Ryukyu Dynasty for generations. They serve the authentic Ryukyu cuisine that they have been accustomed to since childhood.
Now in its second generation, the restaurant maintains the traditional flavors that have been passed down, while offering a variety of dishes that incorporate new essences.
Since I was determined to go on my last night in Naha, I made a reservation in advance on the Dotun course and visited on the day.
The details of the course content are as follows.

In conclusion, it's excellent! One word.
I'm not familiar with Ryukyu cuisine, so I'm still learning, but each dish brings out the flavors of the ingredients and the seasoning is exquisite!
It's very healthy because it's rich in my favorite seaweed.
But this goes really well with alcohol! The alcohol goes on and on.
Personally, I particularly like the konbu irichi.
It's so different from the fake tofuyo you eat in the Kanto region that it really blows your mind. I want to keep drinking awamori with this as a treat!
Also, the Rafute that came out towards the end was delicious...
You can probably eat 3 bowls of rice with just this.
The Hirayachi service was also delicious!
For dessert, top it off with brown sugar ice cream and you'll be full!
It's a satisfying feeling that feels like my heart and internal organs are being cleansed.
This is a wonderful and special time to enjoy authentic Ryukyu cuisine in a calm atmosphere.
When I visited Naha, I visited “Ito Kuruma”.
Taste authentic Ryukyu cuisine!
I would definitely like to hear from you as well.
