Ittetsu Review Summary

really enjoyed the food, the a la carte items we ordered were larger portions than expected, really generous. we tried both the 5,700 set and the 5,900 set for variety, the food was all very good! the whole menu was in Japanese though, had to use google translate and take pics of the menu 😅

Great food well presented and competently cooked. We had a seafood and steak course around ¥7k before drinks. Good crockery, reasonable wines. The wait staff were a bit gauche - had to run to the kitchen to identify the herb, generally served the man before the woman, served the cork-stopped wine into two glasses without a) opening the bottle within sight of the customer b) giving the customer the chance to sample the aroma) but overall not a bad experience. The fault is not with the waiters, it's with the management not giving proper training. Bear this in mind if you read rave reviews, as we did, on alternative sites.

I enjoyed the ¥5,600 yen coarse steak and seafood and garlic rice with my Birthday friend. It was our first time and the food was fantastic and also the red wine is good too. I definitely will come back and bring my Family and friends.

Amazing lunch, best we have had in Japan so far. Note the menu is all in Japanese but the waitress helped translate in English. Well worth it!!!!
