My most enjoyable Kaiseki lunch near the Kyoto Imperial Palace was an unforgettable gourmet experience with my family’s celebration. A wide array of delicious small dishes carefully curated by Master Chef of Iwasaki, Michelin star restaurant. Lunch prices with drinks are truly value for money. Will return one day to this beautiful Kyoto city again for more dining experiences.

Great little kaiseki meal for a reasonable price. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves but it never felt awkward as the chef was hospitable and friendly throughout.

Gosho Iwasaki is a one-star Michelin restaurant.

I visited them right after I moved.
It's a dish that shows the careful work that goes into each dish.
It's not fancy, but each dish is delicious.

There is only a counter, and the interior is quite quiet, so if you want to enjoy a lively chat, we recommend finding a restaurant with private seating.
It's a nice and quiet shop.
