1000yen teishoku meals. Best salmon belly I’ve ever tasted. Their miso soup however can get better. Lovely Japanese style sitting.

Came early on a Saturday evening and was able to get a seat without a reservation. The place filled up pretty quick but they generally gave us two and a half hours to enjoy their food and drinks. A varied daily and seasonal menu along with a regular one as well. Nice to have sashimi and yakitori at the same place but it wasn’t a case of Jack of all trades, master of none. Bonus points for playing Mr Children in the background all night!

A comfortable izakaya with great shareable dishes. The vegetable dishes were especially good.
