Izuei Main Branch Description

Whether you're looking to impress clients, celebrate a special occasion, or simply enjoy a delicious meal, Izuei Main Branch caters to a wide range of events and celebrations.

The staff spoke some English which was very helpful and they had an English menu.
We went around 2pm and it was busy so we had an hour or so wait for a table.

The restaurant has an incredible view across Ueno Park. I haven't ever really been a huge fan of eel, but I definitely enjoyed the flavours of the meal and the atmosphere of the restaurant.
If the weather permits, I'd recommend heading across to Ueno Park (see photos) to explore the zoo, lakes, and museum after having lunch here. I discovered on a run around the park that there are little duck boats that you can hire and take out on the lake, which looks super cute.

This is my favourite restaurant to come to when I am craving a hearty eel dinner.
