I visited for lunch on the 30th.
I've lived in the neighborhood for about 20 years, but this was my first visit.
This is a popular store where people line up before the store opens and the queue continues even afterward.

It is a very quaint restaurant with the atmosphere of a Chinese restaurant in a Showa era.

There were many options on the menu, so I was hesitant, but I ended up having the highly rated tanmen and half-fried rice.

Tanmen contains plenty of vegetables and is very filling.
The soup is salt-based and light, but it is flavored with garlic.
The noodles are flat, medium-thick, and when I ordered them firm, they were served al dente.

The staff recommended that it would be delicious if I added a little homemade chili pepper miso, so I added a small amount and it added just the right amount of saltiness and spiciness, making it even more delicious.
*It's quite spicy, so we recommend adding it a little at a time.

The fried rice is also light with a salty base.
When I was halfway through eating it, I added a bit of mustard miso to it as well, and it was delicious.

Thanks for the meal.

It's a warm and cloudy Sunday, a perfect day to go out...I'm off on a solo trip to Kawasaki🚃

First, I came to this shop near Musashi-Shinjo Station 🏠

I arrived 10 minutes before opening time and there were already about 5 people in line.

By the time the store opened, there was a line behind me, and the place was full as soon as it opened 🙂

Tanmen seems to be popular, but I'll go with chashu men 🍜

Because each dish was cooked at the same time, it took a little time for the char siu men, which is a minority dish.⏱

The combination of dark clear soup, chewy soup, and flat noodles (thick noodles) is unique and delicious🀀

The char siu is soft, flavorful and voluminous, very satisfying😘

On the way, I wasn't sure if it would go well with the soy sauce soup, but I added the popular homemade mustard paste... It added just the right amount of spiciness and umami, and it turned into an even more delicious soup 😋

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and I am very satisfied with the meal. Thank you for your meal✚😆

I've been here several times, and everything I eat is delicious.
The famous tanwan men (ramen with wontons in the tongue) is delicious, but personally, the fried rice is my best!
Shumai is also popular, but I end up ordering gyoza instead.
The photo shows fried rice and gyoza on that day.
Miso soup always comes with rice when you order it.
It's very ordinary, but it's also good.
This "homemade karami" on the table goes well with everything, so be sure to try it.
You can also take it home!

Please note that Google Maps business hours are unreliable!
