Everything here was really tasty and you can feel the love for the food. We especially loved mozuku (we could eat this everyday!) which is served in a style of unflavoured noodle for you to dip in tasty broth. This was amazing and easily worth to order one per person. Beef dishes (roast beef with onsen tamago and shabushabu salad) were sublime and they literally melted in our mouth. Gyoza here was also worth the try. The unique point here also is the selection of awamori. The awamori master will be happy to recommend an awamori based on taste and style of drinking you prefer and we had a really great experience overall. The booking is a must even for a weekday.

If you're exploring the vibrant streets around Kokusai Dori and your taste buds are itching for some authentic Okinawa-style dishes with a side of humor, Jimanya is the place to be.

Flaavor is king. Jimanya -- it's like a flavor fiesta in your mouth. From kimchi that could put a little fire in a snowstorm to mozuku soba that'll have you wondering why you haven't been eating it your whole life, and umi-budo that's like eating the ocean (in a good way), this place knows how to serve up the essence of Okinawa.

Now, let's talk business, shall we? The price is a bit of a Goldilocks situation. Not too touristy, not too local – it's just right. You won't need to hock your snorkel gear to pay the bill, and that's always a plus, right?

The location is prime real estate, just a stone's throw away from Kokusai Dori, which is basically the Disneyland of Okinawa tourist spots. So, after a day of souvenir shopping and people-watching, this is where you can kick back and fill up on some hearty Okinawan delights.

Now, here comes the quirky part – you'll be seated on the second floor, but before you head up, take those shoes off. It's like you're entering the culinary treehouse of the Okinawan world. And honestly, isn't life just better when you can wiggle your toes while you eat?

As for the awamori, well, it's not just sake, it's Okinawan magic juice. The choices here are like a treasure trove of taste. They know how to make your drink an adventure of its own.

In conclusion, Jimanya is where Okinawa's flavors shine, and they sprinkle a touch of quirk to make it a true adventure. The food is the star, the prices are just right, and the location is a tourist's dream. Take off those shoes, order some umi-budo, and raise your awamori glass.

Okinawan casual local food in good quality! The master of this restaurant has great knowledge of "Awamori" (local alcohol drink) and can make a recommendations if you tell him your taste. It was first time for me to have Awamori and could enjoy the marriage with delicious food😋 The food is not cheap but definitely worth trying when you visit Naha city.

Every item was remarkable. Drinks are excellent. Atmosphere is perfect for a date. Somewhat expensive. Top dish among our order was spring cabbage. Also really enjoyed Mizuho. Asikawa beer was fun.
