Jiyūgaoka Burger Jiyūgaoka Review Summary

One of the nicest burger and fries that I have tried in my life, and it's not just in Japan. The fries were especially nicely fried, crunchy and tasty. The restaurant is quite quaint and we enjoyed having lunch here. The home made cola was also very refreshing. Will highly recommend this place.

I give this place a 3.5. The onion rings were the best thing here. followed by the lemonade and ribs and lastly the burger.

The onion ring waa so soft and sweet in flavor, honestly one of the best onion rings I’ve ever had.

The ribs were ok I can imagine some people won’t like the sauce.

The burger doesnt have much meat taste, felt like it was a vegetable burger. It was a bit disappointing.

A true hidden gem. The burgers are SPECTACULAR. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. When there you must try the craft drinks. I had the craft lemon drink and it was just wonderful. I'll be back for sure.

Really good burger place. Especially liked the oven baked fries which were so crispy and yet fluffy on the inside. The burger was really tasty. Got the chilli cheese burger. The chilli was nice but could use a little more heat for my taste but overall a well rounded burger! The place is quite small but they had balcony type seating and the place looked overall cozy ambience wise. Would definitely visit once again!

Part 1: It says on Google Maps they are open today. Clearly they are not open on Tuesday. Very disappointing.
Part 2. I returned on a Thursday. The burger tasted fine but not great. The fried potatoes were good. The outdoor rooftop garden was great. The background Italian basso nova music was trendy sounding but annoying. The Italian cola was ¥1,000!!! I should have checked the price but colas are usually not that expensive! So the total was nearly ¥2,500. I won’t be returning.
