I had previously heard that it was a restaurant where you could eat the most delicious Shanghai crab in Nagoya, but I had heard that it was difficult to make reservations for the Shanghai crab course, so I never expected to go there!
Last year, I happily accepted the dream-like invitation of a regular customer who came for the Shanghai crab course.
The location is Marunouchi.
It's located in the building opposite the sushi restaurant Amaki.
I was a little lost because there was no signboard, but the doorknob on the red door was in the shape of a [J], so ah! I realized that!
When we arrived just in time for our reservation, everyone was seated, so we rushed to sit down.
It's a small shop with only 3 tables inside.
Cheers with Ebisu beer for now!
Introducing raw Shanghai crab from the beginning!
◾️Drunk crab
He also called me a drunken crab.
Shanghai crab marinated in a Shaoxing wine-based liquid for 10 days.
The black parts are eggs.
This black egg is so sticky and soaked in the Shaoxing wine sauce that it's so delicious!
Everyone is eating so desperately that they are already silent. . .
Now, next is steamed crab.
◾️ Comparison of eating between male and female.
Apparently the staff dismantled it last year, but due to the coronavirus, they had to dismantle it themselves this time.
I had a hard time disassembling it.
Dismantling work while communicating verbally.
Even more silent.
I want to disassemble it while it's hot and eat it hot, so everyone's hot! hot! I’m desperate as I say this (lol)
Once everything is finally disassembled, I will eat it all!
I put off drinking alcohol and continued eating in silence.
After all, the miso is rich and delicious!
I've often heard that it looks like a crab, but that's not it at all! I feel more toned! And it tastes great!
This was my first time having it, but the Shanghai crab is unique.
Shanghai crabs live in lakes and it seems that it takes a lot of effort to get rid of the mud.
male and female.
I'm sure everyone has different tastes, but I found the female one's miso delicious as well ❤︎
◾️Steamed oyster egg
It's filled with sliced oysters, and the bean sauce and garlic chip sauce add a tangy flavor to it and it's delicious.
The oyster soup stock is also abundant.
◾️ Maruko and shark fin soup
Apparently they use blue shark.
It was filled with shark fins in a hot and sour oil soup.
Your body will be warm too.
Madam told me that crab is a food that cools the body down.
So after eating crab, he makes sure to serve a dish that warms the body.
◾️Quest. Bean sauce. I love tofu sauce so much that I wanted to pour the leftover sauce over the rice ❤︎
◾️ Nagoya Cochin's stir-fried chili pepper looks like it's really spicy because there's a lot of chili pepper on it? When I tried it, I found that the spiciness was just right, and the Nagoya Cochin itself was chewy, rich in chicken flavor, and crispy on the outside.
◾️Braised pork
The sauce used for the kakuni is a secret sauce that has been used continuously since the restaurant first opened 28 years ago.
Since the whole bowl was steamed, I placed a towel on it and opened the lid.
It's covered in lotus leaves and steamed, so it has a nice aroma and the pork belly is tender and juicy!
It also had daikon radish in it, and the sauce oozed out, making it very delicious.
◾️Salmon roe pickled in Shaoxing wine
It is sprinkled with Japanese pepper.
It had a stronger taste of salmon roe than the soy sauce pickles that I often eat.
Thanks to a friend, I was able to visit a restaurant where reservations are difficult for my first Shanghai Crab.
However, I was so desperate to eat the crab that I became silent and only drank Ebisu beer.
Thank you for the treat.
