The most popular kind of ramen is a bit salty for my taste. Very soy-saucey. I’d recommend the salt ramen (chicken &fisn stock based). Limited bar seating available but everyone eats relatively fast so the wait is bearable.

Not sure why so many people complained about the service but the staff was extremely kind and polite when I visited (despite my Japanese being very poor).

You enter and there is a sitting queue of numbered stools. The counter space is pretty limited (seats 8) and we waited about 20-30minutes to be seated for 2 people. This place seem to be popular with locals, we were the only foreigners there at the time.

We came here to try the osaka-style ramen (chukasoba). It was very unique and delicious, I especially liked the thick noodles. We also tried the hayazushi, a unique nigiri with vinegar flavoring and wrapped in a leaf. The sushi is served upon ordering so if you're too hungry to wait for the ramen that's a good starter.
