Wow. Very nice local authentic Japanese izakaya with huge selection of dishes. Go for seasonal fish sashimi, vegetable sashimi assortment, and flame grilled chicken. Much more to choose from, and better to visit with friends. Reservations strongly recommended.

Beautiful food - we had sashimi (they have lots of new choice of fish), tempura, oysters and a few sides (pickles etc.) The restaurant only has a menu in Japanese, so I would only recommend if you have been to an Izakaya before and know the sorts of dishes you want (if you don't speak Japanese), you could also look at what other people are having . The chef speaks some English. Lots of locals here.

It was my first time visiting.

Since I was alone, I had a hard time ordering.

What I ordered on this day was

After all, sashimi vegetables are for sale.
Three types each of turnip, radish, and eggplant
The taste of vegetables is subtle.
It was a lot of food, but it was delicious.

Milt tempura
It was very delicious.
There was a good amount.

Grilled eel liver
This is also a large amount.

Boiled eggplant
It's a delicious vegetable restaurant, so the dishes bring out the characteristics of the vegetables, and the dishes are very simple but very delicious.

There are many different types of sake, so I'm confused.
There are many kinds even in the local area of Nara.
Warm sake is also served in a hot sake machine, so it's very tempting. The result is a mellow, warmed sake.

It's nice that it's easy for one person to eat, but the portions such as sashimi are large, so it's difficult for one person to order many items.

But it's delicious, so I'd like to come again.

This izakaya near Nara Station exceeded my expectations🏮
The food we ordered was grilled throat blackfish, the restaurant's most popular dish, grilled chicken, grilled eggplant, sake-steamed clams, grilled ginkgo nuts, fried puffer fish, and oyakodon (oyakodon) to finish. (I forgot to take some pictures, and some I forgot to take pictures after eating, so I took some pictures in a hurry)
The accompanying drink is Nara's local sake from draft beer.
First of all, the food is relatively satisfying. The fish and chicken were cooked a little half-cooked, so there may be some picky eaters, but the other dishes were absolutely delicious, and I drank the local sake as recommended, and was very satisfied. It was a highly satisfying restaurant, including the final check!
