Should not miss when you come to Kamakura. The cozy and traditional Japanese restaurant with various hot stone pot sets. We came at lunch time so approx waiting time ~30mins but the foods were so worth to wait for!! Love the boiled sardine that I ordered.

This place is specialised in stone pot rice located near the Kotoku-in temple. It’s a small restaurant with probably about 8-10 tables. This restaurant is located at 1st floor above the Uni Coffee Roastery. The rice is perfectly cook and delicious, However the portion is quite small if you are a big eater. No card accepted, Cash only! English menu a available.

Lucky to have made it to the first round of lunch, or else will need minimum 40-min wait. The restaurant very cozy and staff nice to offer English menu. Personally will recommend trying the seasonal special menu. Our picks of oyster and butter, duck breast and leek pot rice taste phenomenol, full of flavors of the sea and meat, respectively.

It is a cozy style of Japanese restaurants. Very traditional Japanese style food. And nice atmosphere. Price seems a bit expensive but really healthy and worth it.
