Exceptional omakase for a reasonable price. You can tell your budget beforehand and they will adjust the menu accordingly.

Our last night in Kanazawa and the wife chose Kaga Yasuke for dinner. Waited outside for 10-15 minutes while the 'preparing' sign was up but then decided to check if we could actually go in: all good.
10 seats at the counter and being the only ones there, the staff were very engaging and friendly.
A couple of snacks to start and the prawn miso was amazing. Then on to some sashimi cuts which were fresh and generous. Various pieces of sushi to finish and we had to repeat the 2 salt squid as it was gorgeous.
English menu (on request) was helpful for me.
5 stars from the wife, 4 from me as some of the dishes are very Japanese and an acquired taste.
Definitely worthwhile trying and make sure you share your budget with the staff if that's a concern.

If you’re looking for high end sushi/sashimi for great value stop looking further. Tried a wide variety of fish from red snapper to otoro tuna everything was delicious and of high quality. Best sushi place during our visit to Japan.
