Kameido Takano Review Summary

Ingredients were fresh and the food was excellent. The owners were extremely kind. I tried their gomasoba with wild Japanese boar in a stock with root vegetables and eggplant. The taste is similar to visiting a high end dining venue with a focus on Japanese palate with fresh ingredients and subtle flavors that need to be enjoyed slowly. While not for everyone, I do believe this place deserves a 5 star. The cold weather at then time of visit made the warm soba especially tasty. A true gem.

Tempura and the soba (especially the black sesame one) were delicious! Highly recommended. The location is authentic and the owners are very kind and friendly. We had a memorable lunch for the food and the atmosphere!!

Quaint diner with a lot of atmosphere, serving various dishes and soba. The goma mori soba has such an interesting mix of soba noodles with a goma dipping sauce. Thanks for the hospitality!

the soba was delicious! i stopped here on my way to visit the nearby shrine. i had never tried tomato sushi until now, and i really liked it! the owners are very friendly and kind, and the space gives a lovely atmosphere while you eat. it was a great experience :) thank you!

Master of Soba, finest ebi soba in town. Beautiful plating, work of art. Ambiance is very traditional and appreciated. Authentic experience start to finish!
