Outstanding experience that features beautifully presented, creative, and flavorful dishes that marry Chinese and Japanese flavors. Chef Akihito Shintani is a masterful chef, and warm interactions with the staff (including Chef Shintani), low lighting, and gentle background music make Kamigatachuka SHINTANI feel inviting and unpretentious. Absolutely deserving of its Michelin star.

The BEST meal of my life. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable. The wine paired beautifully with the food. Chef Shintani even walked me out and waited with me for my taxi. A truly wonderful experience!
