Tasty soup curry, different from traditional Japanese curry. I can see and taste the care to each ingredient. All the vegetables retain their taste and crunchiness while maintaining the cohesiveness of the dish. So good to find a local gem here without any waiting in line.

Very spicy and rich curry soup, which was perfect for a cold winter night. Bacon was more like pork belly, a very thick cut. We chose 20-25 spice level. Lassi is a yogurt non-alcoholic drink, which paired well with the soup. We don’t have this kind of spicy curry soup in the states so I recommend trying it out when you’re in Sapporo.

Very delicious soup curry! We tried the thick sliced grilled bacon soup curry and the sweet pumpkin croquette soup curry. The thick-cut bacon was grilled to perfection and extremely soft. The pumpkin croquette was beautifully cooked, soft and fluffy inside while crunchy on the outside. The soup curry was perfect for me at spiciness level 5, just spicy enough to give a little kick while enjoying my meal! My husband tried spiciness level 15 and while it was too spicy for me, he found it perfect.
The staff are very attentive and helpful, especially for those of us who don't speak Japanese. There is also an English menu available, but we easily translated the Japanese menu with Google Translate. Hand-drawn menus are beautiful and give the restaurant a wonderful personal touch. I wish I could have more soup curries from here! We will definitely be coming back in our future travels.
