I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meat at ``Kanteki-ya'' which is trending on Instagram etc.
It seems that many people come from other prefectures as well.

The first thing I ordered was the special tongue and special loin recommended by a friend.
I ate the tongue as is without dipping it in anything, and the flavor of the tongue came out sizzlingly and was extremely delicious.
The loin is also exquisite and not too tough.

After that, I ordered a lot of things, but the two dishes mentioned above were so delicious that I don't remember anything I ate afterwards.
To be extreme, I think it would be possible to just eat the special tongue and special loin and go home.

When it's not open, it looks like an empty house or a barracks, but it's a wonderful yakiniku restaurant that serves delicious meat.
Since it's run by a single woman, it's difficult to get through on the phone, but you'll have to be patient.
Also, it will be faster to order directly to the kitchen.

Approximately 4 cars can be parked behind the store. The entrance is narrow, so a compact car is recommended.

Kantekiya is located in Nakayama-cho, Nara City, about a 25-minute walk north of Gakuen-mae Station. This is a famous Yakiniku restaurant in Nara that has been in business for over 45 years.
Located in a barracks-like building, Gap serves Matsusaka beef of excellent quality. Matsusaka beef at this price? The reasonable price is also attractive. It's a one-man shop, so it takes some time, but if you want to enjoy delicious meat, this is definitely the place to go.

My long-awaited Kanteki-ya!

Yes, the fat that betrays the appearance of the meat is gentle and you can really feel the flavor of the meat. I feel like I can eat this forever.
The fresh offal is also beautiful and I'm sure I'll visit again.

I visited here for the first time in 40 years with my daughter in hopes of reliving the taste of the yakiniku that my father often took me to eat when I was a child.

The store still retains its original appearance, and the auntie is now an old woman.
The yakiniku I ate with a nostalgic feeling was a little lighter in flavor than back then, but it was delicious💕

My late uncle made a special yakiniku bowl that even I, who was little at the time, could chew, and I still can't forget the taste of the yakiniku bowl that was not on the menu.

I want to go again when the coronavirus calms down!! ️
