Khan Kebab Biryani Review Summary

Been here many times for lunch, this time had a dinner with my husband and we just love everything! The food, atmosphere and service is really good. The staff are super friendly, I always asked them for recommendations and they never failed to impress me, every time it’s a different dish! We ordered mutton biryani, really good! Must have is the tandoori prawns, so worth it! We used to lived in Singapore and Dubai and we have had good indian food, so far this is the BEST in Tokyo!

The lamb briyani uses basmati rice, smells and presented nicely. It is abit too spicy, so you really need to eat with the raita/yoghurt to reduce the heat. There were pieces of lamb underneath the rice, smells good but the portion could be more. Overall decent briyani, just abit too spicy and it did not need to be that spicy. Service from the staff were great and attentive!

Average food quality. We ordered lamb chops and it was filled with extra spices and were very oily. Biryani was very average and wasn’t cooked properly (had too much water in it). Samosas, Daal/lentils were really good along with tandoori roti and naan. If you are really hungry and can’t find an India/Pakistani food place then this is an average place to visit and eat for a reasonable price.

Maybe I was eating it wrong, but the spice in the biryani was a little overwhelming. There were many entire cloves of spices left in the dish that got hidden in the rice. Once you bite into one, your entire mouth gets filled with star anise or other strong flavors. It was certainly an experience.
